Project Overview

This wedding venue located in Lake Placid, Florida needed a new site that felt clean and whimsical. They wanted to have their pricing be transparent and a gallery with updated images of their venue.

Process Overview

I began this process by reviewing their original site design and checking for color contrast ratio issues. I established these areas that needed work:

Usability: the original design didn't cascade to mobile well.
Readability: The hero image hid the CTA button and made the heading difficult to read. There were also color contrast ratio issues that needed to be addressed through the site.
User Flow: margins and padding across the site weren't uniform; this created a broken user-flow.

After establishing the issues, I created the wireframe to establish the user flow and then implemented a new UI that aligned with the logo better and addressed the ADA issues.
This was developed out using Webflow.
